1.) Tell us a little about yourself! With my parents being involved in athletics, I literally grew up on the sidelines. Now married with 4 kids, my kids are able to do the same thing. I?ve worked in Athletic marketing, events, and administration for the last 15 years.
2.) What inspired you to be a part of My FanRaiser? As a Christian we are called to serve and help others. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, it lit a fire in me to want to help others in need. With that idea, and the help of others, My FanRaiser was created. I want to be able to take that platform and create the same experience in other communities–to help those in need and provide local artist new opportunities to further their career at the same time.
3.) If you had one song to sing for the rest of your life, what would it be? I believe music ignites the soul and brings people together. So rather it?s Lynard Skynard?s, ?Sweet Home Alabama,? (which changed my life), to anything Dre and Pac, Chris Tomlin, or Chopin, if I had one song to sing for the rest of my life, it would be whatever is playing on the radio!
4.) What is a fun or interesting fact about your hometown? I grew-up in Kershaw, SC. It?s a small rural community nestled between Columbia, SC and Myrtle Beach. Everyone knowing everyone is an understatement and if you?re not related to someone you?re still family. The best wings you?ll ever eat can be found at a Mom-and-Pop gas station across town!
5.) What motivates you? I?m motivated by competition so, if it?s family game night or in life, I want to do my best to win!
1.) Tell us a little bit about yourself! I’m a sports-loving, foodie with a passion for just about everything. I’m married to my best friend, Clay, and we have a 3-year old son named Brooks. I’ve spent years as a Reporter/Anchor in TV news and I’ve made the jump to the PR/Marketing side.
2.) What inspired you to be a part of My FanRasier? My FanRaiser came about as a way to help people by raising money (virtually) during a pandemic. Now, it’s evolved to a way we can help non-profits and organizations all over the country. I’ve always prided myself on being able to tell the untold stories and help people who have a hard time helping themselves. My FanRaiser gives me the opportunity to meet, learn about, and help people that come from all walks of life in all corners of our country. It unites us for the greater good.
3.) If you had one song to sing for the rest of your life, what would it be? Michael Jackson…. pretty much anything…. but if I had to pick one, “Will you be there”
4.) What is a fun or interesting fact about your hometown? My hometown is Newport News, VA. It’s the birthplace to famed musicians like Ella Fitzgerald, superstar athletes like Michael Vick, and home to the nation’s largest shipyard. Some may say we are just a JACK OF ALL TRADES!
5.) What motivates you? I’m motivated to win. Winning has a lot of faces (and a lot of games), but I’m ultimately driven for success. My family is also a huge source of motivation for me…. as is, PIZZA!
1.) Tell us a little bit about yourself! By day I work in marketing for a non-profit. I’m a wine lover, workout fanatic and concert junkie. My boyfriend, Brandon, and I are proud pet parents to a fluffy kitty, Stevie, and a mini-dachshund, Gracie. We may be a little biased, but they are the best. We love to travel and try the best restaurants in town.
2.) What inspired you to be a part of My FanRasier? My FanRaiser came about as a way to support a local community and artists during unprecedented times. Both music and community development are two of my passions. My FanRaiser allows me to feed both passions.
3.) If you had one song to sing for the rest of your life, what would it be? “Vienna” by Billy Joel. It reminds me to slow down and enjoy the little things.
4.) What is a fun or interesting fact about your hometown? I am born and raised in Macon, Georgia. Macon is home to The Allman Brothers, Otis Redding, and Little Richard just to name a few. My college internship was at The Big House Museum where members of The Allman Brothers lived during the 1970s.
5.) What motivates you? I’m motivated by helping others. There is no greater feeling in the world than knowing you’ve made a postiive difference in someone’s life.
